![Adrianne Lenker: Bright Future [4AD]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/63506695/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-adrianne-lenker-bright-future-4ad.jpg)
Big Thief singer Adrianne Lenker's 2024 solo album Bright Future, intimate, live-to-tape folk songs: "Free Treasure," "Real House" and "Ruined."
Bright Future received widespread acclaim and a Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album, another stunning showcase for one of today's finest songwriters.
Adrianne Lenker recorded Bright Future with a few close friends at Double Infinity, a studio in the woods, capturing the songs live to analogue tape. Acoustic guitar, piano, fiddle and gentle harmonies create a warm, wide-open, deeply human sound.
"Free Treasure" is a sweet, heartfelt highlight, "Real House" is a gentle piano reverie, "Vampire Empire" (a Big Thief fan favourite) gets a loose, lively take, and "Ruined" is quietly beautiful.
