About the album

Toni Braxton arrived on LaFace with a rich, smoky contralto unlike anyone else in R&B, and producers L.A. Reid, Babyface and Daryl Simmons built her debut around it with silky, sophisticated grooves and big, sweeping ballads.

"Breathe Again" is a gorgeous, soaring classic, "Another Sad Love Song" is irresistibly smooth, "Seven Whole Days" smoulders, and "You Mean the World to Me" is pure 90s quiet storm magic.
