![The Weakerthans: Reunion Tour [EPITAPH]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/59194893/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-the-weakerthans-reunion-tour-epitaph.jpg)
Winnipeg favourites The Weakerthans' 2007 album Reunion Tour with John K. Samson: "Civil Twilight," "Tournament of Hearts" and "Virtute the Cat Explains Her Departure."
Reunion Tour is a beloved Canadian indie classic, full of John K. Samson's tender, witty, deeply observed songs about Winnipeg, curling, hockey and a very good cat.
Produced by Ian Blurton, the band's fourth album adds keyboards, tape loops and ambient textures to their warm, literate indie rock, while keeping the heartfelt melodies and big-hearted choruses fans adore.
"Civil Twilight" is a wistful commute, "Tournament of Hearts" turns curling into a love song, "Elegy for Gump Worsley" honours the goalie, and "Virtute the Cat Explains Her Departure" is a fan-favourite tearjerker.
