About the album

Six years after his acclaimed debut Process, Sampha returned with Lahai, a record about time, love, family and flight, with contributions from Yaeji, Ibeyi, Yussef Dayes, Morgan Simpson and more.

"Spirit 2.0" is a fluttering, propulsive highlight, "Only" is tender and lovely, "Suspended" floats on gorgeous piano, and "Can't Go Back" and "Jonathan L. Seagull" show off his blend of soul, jazz and electronics.

Worth every one of the years between albums.
