About the album

Pop Smoke was the Brooklyn drill voice everyone could pick out in a second, a deep, gravelly growl that turned up on radios and in car speakers all over the world in 2019. He also could sing, a talent he had honed in church, and his first album was meant to show both sides. After his death in February 2020, 50 Cent stepped in as executive producer, calling the guests and finishing the record he had planned.

The guest list is huge: Quavo, Lil Baby, DaBaby, Swae Lee, Future, Roddy Ricch, Tyga, Karol G and 50 Cent on the main album. "For the Night" with Lil Baby and DaBaby, "Mood Swings" with Lil Tjay, "What You Know Bout Love" and "The Woo" all went top 20 on the Hot 100. The deluxe sides add Fivio Foreign, Gunna, Young Thug, Burna Boy, Davido and remixes of "Yea Yea," "Diana" and "Enjoy Yourself."

It won Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Rap Album at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. Six sides of vinyl, so you'll be up and down to the turntable often enough to count as cardio.
