About the album

If you need the whole Nirvana story on one record, this is it. Simply titled Nirvana, this 2002 collection pulls from all three studio albums and the MTV Unplugged session, and it opened at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

"Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Come as You Are," "Lithium," "In Bloom" and "Heart-Shaped Box" are all here, plus Bleach's "About a Girl," the 1990 single "Sliver," the Scott Litt remix of "Pennyroyal Tea" and the Unplugged takes of "All Apologies" and "The Man Who Sold the World." The big draw is "You Know You're Right," from the band's final studio session in 1994.

Even the completists get a treat in the Scott Litt remix of "Pennyroyal Tea."
