About the album

Three years after The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Lauryn Hill took the stage at MTV's Times Square studio with just her acoustic guitar and her voice, performing a set of new, deeply personal songs about faith, freedom and truth, with heartfelt spoken interludes between them.

"Mystery of Iniquity" is a breathtaking, rapid-fire tour de force, "I Gotta Find Peace of Mind" is a deeply moving centrepiece, and "Adam Lives in Theory" and "Just Like Water" are gentle and searching. A remarkable, one-of-a-kind document.
