![Khalid: American Teen [RIGHT HAND / RCA]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33616609/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-khalid-american-teen-right-hand-rca.jpg)
Khalid's breakout 2017 debut American Teen: "Location," "Young Dumb & Broke," "Saved" and the title track.
American Teen made Khalid a star, going platinum on the strength of "Location" and "Young Dumb & Broke," both Billboard top 20 hits.
Written when he was still a teenager in El Paso, Texas, Khalid's debut captures youth, friendship and first love with a warm, rich voice and dreamy, minimal R&B and pop production.
"Location" is a smooth, modern classic, "Young Dumb & Broke" is a carefree singalong, "Saved" is tender, and the title track is a sunny anthem for growing up. It earned a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
