About the album

After To Pimp a Butterfly, Kendrick Lamar dropped eight unfinished tracks from the same sessions with no warning and almost no promotion, and they were so good it went straight to No. 1. Loose, jazzy and funky, with Thundercat, Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper and Kamasi Washington in the mix, it feels like a peek inside the studio.

"untitled 02" with its haunting hook is a fan favourite, "untitled 03" is a clever parable, "untitled 07" is a three-part, eight-minute journey, and "untitled 08" grooves like a funk jam. Essential for any Kendrick fan.
