About the album

Juice WRLD recorded at a pace few artists could match, reportedly leaving more than two thousand songs behind when he died in December 2019 at just 21. His family and his label, Grade A, promised to share the music he'd been so passionate about, and seven months later Legends Never Die arrived as the first of those projects.

The songs carry the melodic, emo-tinged style that made the Chicago rapper a star. "Righteous" and "Wishing Well" are hushed and soul-searching, "Conversations" and "Titanic" glide on rippling guitar, and "Bad Energy" and "Blood On My Jeans" show his gift for a hook. Trippie Redd joins on "Tell Me U Luv Me," Halsey on "Life's a Mess" and Marshmello on "Come & Go," while Polo G and The Kid Laroi turn up on "Hate the Other Side." The closing "Juice WRLD Speaks From Heaven" lets him have the last word.

The album also reached No. 1 in Canada, the UK, Australia and Ireland, and it spun off six singles. With that many songs reportedly still in the vault, his fans are unlikely to run short of new music for some time.
