About the album

Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's virtual band moved to Los Angeles for their eighth album and made one of their sunniest, poppiest records yet, produced with Greg Kurstin. It's a playful concept about a cult on a mysterious island, with guests galore.

The title track with Thundercat is a funky blast, "New Gold" with Tame Impala and Bootie Brown is a shimmering hit, "Silent Running" with Adeleye Omotayo is gorgeous, "Tormenta" brings in Bad Bunny, and "Oil" features Stevie Nicks. Endlessly fun.
