About the album

By 2022 Future had nothing left to prove, so naturally he made one of the biggest albums of his career. I Never Liked You arrived on Freebandz and Epic with production from ATL Jacob, FnZ, Southside, Taurus, TM88 and Wheezy, and a guest list of Drake, Kanye West, Gunna, Young Thug, Tems, EST Gee and Kodak Black.

"Wait for U" built a whole song around a Tems vocal and gave Toronto's own Drake his tenth Hot 100 chart-topper, "712 PM" is a hazy, hypnotic standout, and "Keep It Burnin" with Kanye is pure swagger. "Worst Day" opened the campaign, "Love You Better" shows the softer side, and "I'm On One" and "Holy Ghost" bring the dark, rumbling trap he made his name on.

It was his eighth No. 1 album and went double platinum. The title suggests a man settling scores; the sales suggest everybody liked it just fine.
