About the album

Kieran Hebden, recording as Four Tet on his own Text label, made New Energy as a warm, open-hearted mix of ambient folktronica, gentle house, dreamy samples and plucked string instruments.

"Two Thousand and Seventeen" is a gorgeous, gently plucked meditation, "Planet" and "SW9 9SL" are gently euphoric dance tracks, and "Lush" and "Scientists" glow with warmth. Perfect for both quiet mornings and late nights.
