![FKA twigs: Magdalene [YOUNG TURKS]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33630007/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-fka-twigs-magdalene-young-turks.jpg)
FKA twigs' breathtaking 2019 album Magdalene: "cellophane," "home with you," "sad day" and "holy terrain" with Future.
Magdalene is FKA twigs' masterpiece, an intensely personal, gorgeously produced album of heartbreak and healing, crowned by the devastating "cellophane."
Self-produced with collaborators including Nicolas Jaar, Jack Antonoff, Skrillex, Daniel Lopatin and benny blanco, Magdalene blends avant-pop, R&B, classical choral textures and electronics around twigs's acrobatic voice.
"cellophane" is a stark, piano-led ballad of rare vulnerability, "home with you" swells from intimacy to grandeur, "sad day" glimmers, and "holy terrain" with Future is sleek and haunting.
Choral textures and electronics, holding hands rather beautifully. Headphones on, lights down.
