About the album

Louisville's Bryson Tiller recorded much of Trapsoul while working shifts at Papa John's, after his SoundCloud song "Don't" took off online. The album marries hard-hitting trap production with silky, late-90s R&B melodies, sung and rapped with real warmth.

"Don't" is the breakout, "Exchange" is a slow-burning favourite, "Sorry Not Sorry" has swagger to spare, and "Right My Wrongs" closes the album on a heartfelt note.
