About the album

Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning gathered a who's who of Toronto's indie scene, including Feist, Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw of Metric, Amy Millan of Stars and Andrew Whiteman, and with producer David Newfeld made a sprawling, joyful, beautifully chaotic record that sounds like the best party you've ever been to.

"Almost Crimes" and "Cause = Time" are euphoric, "Stars and Sons" glows, "Anthems for a Seventeen Year-Old Girl" with Emily Haines is a whispered classic, and "Lover's Spit" is gorgeous. A proud Toronto original.
