Alessia Cara's fourth album, Love & Hyperbole (2025), with "Dead Man," "(Isn't It) Obvious" and "Slow Motion."
The Brampton-raised Grammy winner made it with producers Mike Elizondo, Jake Gosling and Jon Levine. "(Isn't It) Obvious" features a guitar solo by John Mayer, and "Fire" became her highest-charting Adult Pop Airplay entry since 2017.
Some albums are written in a weekend; Alessia Cara gave this one from late 2021 into early 2024, and she arrived on Valentine's Day 2025 with a record whose title tells you exactly what to expect. Greg Kurstin, Dan Farber and Chrome Sparks also lent a hand behind the desk.
A part of Pop Girl Summer's 'Hot-Girl Pop' team, Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara returns with a masterclass in pop music on her fourth album Love and Hyperbole. Embracing growth and delivering pop hits for over a decade, Alessia Cara finds herself at the top of her game in 2025 with critically acclaimed production, songwriting and performance. Love and Hyperbole includes the lead single "Dead Man" as well as "(Isn't It) Obvious," "Slow Motion" and "Fire."
She took it on the road that spring as the Love & Hyperbole Tour. Grab your copy on vinyl to keep your summer spinning; we've been told the hyperbole is entirely justified.
