Radiohead: The King of Limbs [XL RECORDINGS]

Why you'll love it

The King of Limbs is Radiohead's most groove-focused album, built from loops and layered rhythms, and "Lotus Flower" with Thom Yorke's famous dance video is a modern classic.

About the album

Produced with Nigel Godrich, The King of Limbs finds Radiohead building songs from sampled, looped and layered performances, with Phil Selway's drums and intricate, skittering rhythms at the centre and Thom Yorke's voice floating over the top.

"Bloom" opens in a swirl of horns and polyrhythms, "Lotus Flower" is sleek and seductive, "Codex" is a gorgeous piano ballad, and "Give Up the Ghost" and "Separator" close the record with warmth and calm.
