South African country singer Orville Peck returns with a new album Stampede, featuring 15 tracks of captivating vocal duets across a diverse array of genres. Highlights include a collaboration with Willie Nelson on "Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly Fond of Each Other," a cover of "Rhinestone Cowboy," and a duet with Elton John on "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)." The album’s second single, "Midnight Ride," features collaborations with pop superstars Kylie Minogue and Diplo. Stampede follows Orville Peck’s 2022 release Bronco and a self-imposed hiatus in 2023. The album title maintains Peck's theme of horse-related names for his releases.
