MICO: When the lights turn on (Signing Event Pre-order) [COLUMBIA]

Why you'll love it

The debut album from Toronto's MICO, the Filipino-Canadian alt-pop-rock artist who built his following on Discord, TikTok and self-released songs. Pop-punk nostalgia with hyperpop edges, and a central theme of outgrowing the people and places that made you.

This edition

About the album

When the lights turn on is MICO's first full-length on Columbia. He wrote it during a year of sold-out touring and personal upheaval, blending 2000s and 2010s pop-punk with modern alt-pop and hyperpop textures.

"DREAMBOY," "Like you mean it" and "Do it all again" came out ahead of the album. His fans call themselves amicos, and the Running From A Feeling Tour took the record across the US and Canada from September 2026.
