![Johnny Cash: With His Hot And Blue Guitar [SUN RECORDS]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/78076840/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-johnny-cash-with-his-hot-and-blue-guitar.jpg)
Johnny Cash's 1957 debut With His Hot And Blue Guitar, the first LP on Sun, with I Walk The Line and Folsom Prison Blues. Back on vinyl.
Johnny Cash's first album, back on vinyl on the label that first issued it, and the first LP Sam Phillips ever put out on Sun. It has I Walk The Line, Folsom Prison Blues, Cry! Cry! Cry! and So Doggone Lonesome.
Cash cut these songs at Sun between 1954 and 1957 with the Tennessee Two: Luther Perkins on electric guitar and Marshall Grant on bass. Phillips produced, and the boom-chicka-boom sound was born here.
I Walk The Line went to number one on the country chart. Twelve songs pass in under half an hour, and every one of them hits.
"set the template for Cash's nearly 50-year career"
