This isn't One Direction– Harry Styles' second solo album is pop with a lot of soul and a funky backbone, easy to listen to but worth hearing. Styles takes in some serious influences here: there are notes of David Bowie and Joni Mitchell, whispers of funk, soul, psych and R&B, all underpinning the solid pop songwriting we've come to expect from the former teen idol. No wonder it won the Grammy for best pop album in 2021. Featuring the chart-breaking single "Watermelon Sugar" as well as hits like "Golden," "Falling" and "Adore You," Fine Line is sure to get you on your feet and keep you there until it's done.
