About the album

Recorded with Antônio Carlos Jobim and vocalist Maria Helena Toledo, Jazz Samba Encore! mixes Jobim standards with Bonfá originals in a relaxed, slower groove, all wrapped in a striking abstract painting by Olga Albizu on the cover.

"Só Danço Samba" and "Insensatez" are bossa nova at its most graceful, "Sambalero" sways beautifully, and Bonfá's "Samba de Duas Notas" and "Menina Flor" are sunlit treasures. Perfect for a warm evening.
