20th Anniversary Deluxe reissue of My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade, with six bonus tracks, on indie-exclusive baby pink 2LP. Out October 23, 2026.
An indie-exclusive baby pink deluxe 2LP with six bonus tracks, out 20 years to the day after The Black Parade first arrived. The album debuted at No. 2 in both the US and the UK. It gave the band "Welcome To The Black Parade," "Famous Last Words" and "Teenagers."
The Black Parade follows "The Patient," a man dying of cancer who looks back over his life. Death comes for him as a marching band, like the one his father once took him to see as a boy, and the record plays out as that procession.
The band produced it with Rob Cavallo, who had worked with Green Day, and made most of it in 2006 at the Paramour Mansion in Los Angeles, a house Gerard Way has said gave him night terrors. Liza Minnelli steps in on "Mama" as the Patient's mother.
"A Bro-hemian Rhapsody."
