The third album by American tenor saxophonist Clifford Jordan Cliff Craft finds Jordan leading a once-in-a-generation hard bop quintet featuring Sonny Clark on piano, Art Farmer on trumpet, George Tucker on bass and Louis Hayes on drums. Side A consists of three Jordan originals and Side B consists of standards by Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker.

Clifford Jordan started his career with three excellent albums released via Blue Note Records: "Blowing in from Chicago", "Cliff Jordan" and "Cliff Craft".
