Michael Jackson's Thriller is an all-time great by the greatest of all time, the best of the best of the best in pop music. Thriller opens with "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'," a funky disco track that kicks the album off with a burst of energy. On "The Girl is Mine," Jackson is joined by Paul McCartney for a lighthearted duet before the title track, "Thriller," comes back around to the irresistible funk-disco-pop sound of the album's opener in a big way. Thriller hasn't peaked after side A though, with two more of Jackson's biggest hits, "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" still to come. Nothing can hold the King of Pop back on this relentlessly good album. Just when you think he's finished, he's on his feet again... lurching towards you... like a... like a zombie... or a werewolf... or a zombie werewolf!!!
You could drop the needle anywhere on this album and have a great time. But you're probably already thinking about the "Thriller" video, so here it is.
