About the EP

Everybody Scream arrived in 2025 as one of Florence Welch's most theatrical records, and the deluxe edition stripped four of its songs back to chamber arrangements. They sit closer and quieter than the album cuts.

The title track, "Sympathy Magic," "The Old Religion" and "Drink Deep" all survive the change with their drama intact; the smaller frame simply brings Welch's phrasing to the front.

On a 10" spinning at the size the songs now suit, it makes a natural companion to the full LP.

"She possesses a singular belt that adds an aching dimension to her rousing, elliptical pop."
Maura Johnston, Rolling Stone
