DIIV: ZIRP! (Indie Exclusive Opaque Gold Vinyl) [FANTASY]

DIIV – ZIRP! (Indie Exclusive Opaque Gold Vinyl)

Label: Fantasy Recordings / Concord · Cat#: FAN03370 · Release date: October 30, 2026 (pre-order)

Indie-store exclusive. This is the indie-exclusive pressing of ZIRP! on opaque gold vinyl in deluxe packaging, available only through independent record stores like Kops.

ZIRP! is DIIV's fifth studio album and the follow-up to 2024's Frog in Boiling Water. It was produced by A. G. Cook, the PC Music founder known for his work with Charli XCX and Caroline Polachek. Cook built the record around the band's live sound, recording live drums early and spending long sessions on layered guitar parts and pedals rather than on a computer. In the band's own words: "This is our POP record. This is our extremely accessible mainstream alternative rock record." The title refers to the "zero interest rate policies" era of startups and tech culture. Singles so far include "The Fountain" and "Kid."

DIIV are Zachary Cole Smith, Andrew Bailey, Colin Caulfield and Ben Newman.
