Signed
Modest Mouse signed these copies after their show at Meridian Hall in Toronto. It's their first album in five years and the first on Isaac Brock's own label, on the indie exclusive Ocean Floor blue 2LP.
An Eraser and a Maze is Modest Mouse's first album in five years, following 2021's The Golden Casket, and their first on Isaac Brock's own Glacial Pace label after more than 20 years with Epic. Brock produced it, with extra production from Jacknife Lee, Suzy Shinn and Justin Raisen.
"For this one, I turned off my filter and just let it all happen," Brock said. Six of the songs were nearly released as an EP or under his Ugly Casanova side project before the album took shape. "Look How Far..." was the band's first new song in five years, and the record arrived alongside a tour marking 30 years of the band.
"a dense, challenging, and highly rewarding listen"
