American jazz trumpeter and vocalist Louis Armstrong continues to dominate charts well into the 21st century. More than 50 years after its release, his iconic recording of “What A Wonderful World” has surpassed 1.4 billion global streams and was recently certified 5x platinum by the RIAA. In July 2024, Louis in London, a 13-track album capturing Armstrong’s last great performance, earned widespread praise.
Since his passing in 1971, Armstrong's legacy as one of the most influential and beloved jazz artists has only grown stronger. Known for revolutionizing jazz with his groundbreaking trumpet playing and pioneering vocal style, Armstrong's impact on American music is unmatched. Wonderful World: The Best of Louis Armstrong features 13 of his greatest hits, including “A Kiss To Build A Dream On", “La Vie En Rose", “Hello, Dolly!” and “What A Wonderful World", alongside his timeless duets with Ella Fitzgerald, such as “Cheek To Cheek” and “Dream A Little Dream of Me".
