British musical duo A.R Kane's debut album 69 blends dub, acid rock, jazz, noise and pop to create a genre that critics coined dream-pop. Along with starting the dream-pop craze 69 laid the foundations for shoe-gaze, post-rock and trip-hop, quite the feat for an album by a little-known duo that clocks in just over 40 minutes. A.R Kane's music is made for dreamers, their music is blurry, sensual and surrealist and never rushes any of its motifs.

This 2024 reissue, released via Rocket Girl is Uncut magazine's reissue of the month and The Quietus's reissue of the week, 69 is a must-have for any lover of music history.
