The departure of founding members Kevin Godley and Lol Creme in 1976 left Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman to carry 10cc on as a duo, with no serious effect on the daffy U.K. hitmakers' sense of humour or ear for pop hooks. Indeed, "The Things We Do For Love" would become the most lasting and instantly recognizable single of the band's career.
