A part of Pop Girl Summer’s ‘Sad Girl-Pop’ team, nineteen year old Clairo defined the bedroom-pop era with her self produced EP, ‘Diary 001.’

Like many current pop-icons, Clairo began by posting covers in her bedroom in her teen years before finding success with a homemade music video for her song ‘Pretty Girl’ which went on to become a viral hit. Finding her niche quickly through lo-fi pop vocals and catchy synths, ‘Diary 001’ marked the beginning of Clairo’s ability to define and change the pop-landscape.
