Transit is the debut studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Yasuha, released by Polydor in November 1981. The album blends city pop with disco, funk, AOR, and kayōkyoku, creating a polished and distinctly early-1980s sound.

The standout track is “Fly-Day Chinatown,” Yasuha’s debut single and her best-known song. Its funky groove, smooth vocals, and stylish urban atmosphere have made it a favorite among city pop listeners. Other highlights include “Bye-Bye Lover,” “Kuuchuu Buranko,” “Love Magic,” and “Remember Summertime.”

With its sophisticated arrangements and mixture of upbeat grooves and mellow ballads, Transit captures the glamorous, nocturnal side of early Japanese city pop. It remains one of the more distinctive releases from Yasuha’s early career.
