2001, USA, Un numbered, pre-release, soundtrack - VG+
Side D of this 2LP holds six Stillwater songs, including Chance Upon You from Cameron Crowe's Untitled director's cut. The disc grades VG+. The soundtrack won the Grammy for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album in 2001.
Danny Bramson and Cameron Crowe produced the soundtrack, and the CD came out on 12 September 2000. Crowe, Heart's Nancy Wilson and Peter Frampton wrote most of Stillwater's songs for the film. Wilson also wrote the score, and her Lucky Trumble is on side C.
The vinyl first appeared in 2000 as 2,500 numbered copies on 180g Classic Records vinyl. That run sold out. An RTI test pressing dated November 2001 shows the labels prepared a second run of the LP.
