Released on October 23, 2006, through Reprise Records, The Black Parade is the third studio album by American rock band My Chemical Romance. A critically acclaimed concept album, it follows the story of "The Patient," a man confronting terminal cancer as he approaches the end of his life. Blending elements of emo, alternative rock, pop-punk, hard rock, punk rock, and glam rock, the album was produced by the band in collaboration with Rob Cavallo.
